We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading kindness and joy throughout central Indiana. Founded in 2020, we strive to support other ministries and organizations in joint community service events while sharing the love of God. Our approach is to engage communities with fun and free activities.
By performing simple, heartfelt acts, Kindness Delivered aims to create meaningful connections through generosity and joy. We want to make a positive impact while inspiring others to do the same. From a single kind act to a ripple effect, we're building a network of love and hope, where compassion arrives right on time.
Shelby’s kindness and compassion inspired it all.
Meet our namesake, Shelby Kraft.
The daughter of Kindness Delivered co-founder Deb Kraft, Shelby was a beacon of kindness and a testament to the power of a compassionate heart. Her beautiful soul was the driving force and guiding light behind the formation of our organization.
Although we lost Shelby in 2022, her legacy is a constant inspiration. Every act of kindness we facilitate is a tribute to her spirit, and we are dedicated to carrying her mission forward.

What’s Buzzing?
Kindness Delivered hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Below are a few highlights from this season, offering a glimpse into our mission in action. To see our full 2026 event schedule, click on the button below.
New Palestine Elementary Breakfast Club
We had a wonderful morning bringing joy and donuts to 55 amazing kids! Our visit centered on “Kindness, Jesus Style” featuring our mascot, Tenderheart, for smiles and photos. We shared the story of Zaccaeus (Luke 19), teaching the kids that while the world often points at a person's "mess," Jesus looks at the heart. Just as Jesus’ kindness changed Zacchaeus’ life, we encouraged the kids to look past the surface and lead with love. To put this into practice, each student received two Tootsie Pops at dismissal, one to keep and one to give away as an intentional act of kindness. It was a sweet, fulfilling morning watching these precious kids learn how their kindness can change the world!
Hornet Park Elementary School
We had a very special visit with some very special students at Hornet Park Elementary School, in their essential skills classes. We had fun bringing music and hitting the dance floor with the students for a fun, sensory-friendly movement session. Our mascot, Tenderheart was also a big hit, sharing high-fives and posing for photo’s with the kids. To support these incredible teachers and their students, we donated essential classroom supplies and provided small handpicked sensory gifts for each of the 20 children to take home. We are so grateful to these incredible teachers, Brooke and Mitchell, for inviting us into their space. It was a rewarding morning filled with music, smiles, and meaningful connection!
Triton Central High School
Inspire, a new Triton Central High School staff initiative, is focused on teamwork and camaraderie. The intent is to celebrate their 50-person team and build a culture of mutual support. Kindness Delivered and the Fountain Church have been invited to help sponsor this event by providing coffee and donuts during four staff gatherings (two in April, two in May). Further, every staff member will receive a custom t-shirt highlighting the principle found in Matthew 5:16 to celebrate their shared mission. Also, to foster a kind environment, each colleague will pick a task from their Kindness Jar and then share their story to help highlight the good work happening within their halls. Each week, they will share these moments of kindness via email to head into the weekend inspired. To say thank you for participating, "kindness doers" and “receivers” will be entered into separate raffles for a $50 Amazon gift card. The more they participate, the more chances they’ll have to win!
Meet Tenderheart, our Kindness Mascot!
I pop up wherever love and care are needed most.
My name comes from a very special place, Ephesians 4:32 (ESV), which says “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” This beautiful passage is the guiding light for our entire mission, and I'm here to help bring it to life.
My job is to be a warm and joyful presence, a living symbol of the love and hope we share. You'll find me at all of our Kindness Delivered events, ready to give high fives, share hugs, and take photos. I'm here to show that kindness isn't just an idea—it's something you can feel and experience. I can't wait to meet you and spread some smiles together!

Kindness Delivered has our heartfelt gratitude from Triton Central Middle School! Partnering with our students and community for the past four years, we have led our 5th grade students to participate in “The Kindness Experiment,” where each student was taught, encouraged and tasked with spreading kindness to others. Through this process, we were able to impact over a thousand lives, with a ripple effect that has reached countless others! With the financial and emotional investment from Kindness Delivered, we have been able to create a culture of compassion and positivity that continues to grow. Sauni Box - Director of Community Life Style, Springhurst Health Campus
You know something special is about to happen when a giant bumblebee hops out of a van—especially when that van is decorated with a bumble bee on it and is parked beside Ohana Lulu’s donut and ice cream truck. That’s exactly what unfolded at our 2024 community Halloween party at Springhurst Health Campus, and it was pure joy from start to finish.
Kindness Delivered, a nonprofit inspired by the gentle and generous spirit of Shelby, partnered with Ohana Lulu Donuts and Ice Cream to create an unforgettable experience for our residents and guests. With nearly 200 trick-or-treaters buzzing through the campus, the energy was electric. The Kindness Delivered team arrived with their signature warmth and their iconic bumblebee van, instantly turning heads and lifting spirits.
As the cheerful bumblebee mascot visited with costumed kids danced between treat stations, and parents smiled wide, soaking in the moment. It wasn’t just a party, it was a celebration of community, compassion, and the kind of joy that lingers long after the last scoop is served.
Shelby’s legacy lives on in every act of kindness this organization shares. Her vision wasn’t just about giving—it was about creating moments that matter. And on that October day, Kindness Delivered reminded us that even in a world that can feel heavy, joy is never out of reach.
We’re deeply grateful for their presence and proud to support a mission that turns kindness into action—one sweet moment at a time. Kindness Delivered didn’t just show up—they showed us what community looks like. We can’t wait to welcome them back. -

For the past few years, Kindness Delivered has been such an amazing partner to our IMPD East District Community Day.
